Mike Hodgson
Managing Director
Prior to joining IOMA Fiduciary Mike held the position of Managing Director of Abacus Trust Company Limited. Originating from Canada, Mike has more than 30 years experience in the Financial Services Industry. Previous roles include Regional Managing Director of Ansbacher Caribbean Limited and main Board Director of Ansbacher Holdings in the UK with overall responsibility for the Group's business development. Before joining Ansbacher, Mike spent 24 years with the Royal Bank of Canada where he held a number of senior positions as an executive officer of the parent bank, both in Toronto and the Far East, including Regional Head of RBC Wealth Management in Asia, based in Hong Kong and Vice President and Regional Head of Global Private Banking for RBC Asia, based in Singapore.
Mike graduated from Richard Ivey School of Business with a Masters of Business Administration, and also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts (History) from McMaster University Hamilton, Ontario, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. Mike is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
